Let’s learn more about her background, inspiring journey so far and her advice for our growing community!

Excerpts from our exclusive interview with Sonali:

Could you please talk us through your background and your journey?

My journey has been anything but linear — and that’s exactly what makes it meaningful. I started my professional life as a software engineer. Later, I pursued an MBA and went on to join my family’s pharmaceutical business, helping scale it with structure and strategy. From the outside, everything looked steady. On the inside, I was quietly navigating emotional struggles and unresolved pain.

Losing my younger brother to an untimely and unexpected death changed everything. That loss shook me, broke me, and then — slowly — rebuilt me. It made me more aware, more resilient, and more determined to serve.

Life tested me again through a difficult marriage. The ups and downs showed me how critical emotional strength really is. Walking away wasn’t just an ending — it was the beginning of reclaiming myself.

Today, I stand as a businesswoman, the author of Believe in Your Own Power, a certified life coach, and an advocate for mental and emotional well-being.

Recently, I earned two titles at Haut Monde Mrs. India Worldwide — India Zone Winner and Mrs. Photogenic. I don’t see these as crowns. I see them as reminders that healing is possible and rising is real.

My mission is simple yet powerful: to help people become emotionally resilient, mentally strong, and deeply connected to their inner power.

How did you discover your passion?

My passion didn’t appear as a sudden moment of inspiration — it unfolded slowly through life’s ups and downs, adversity, and my healing journey.

When I faced emotional breakdowns, traumatic loss, and overwhelming self-doubt, I turned inward. Meditation, emotional regulation, therapy, and personal development became my anchors. As I healed, I grew stronger and more grounded. I realised how essential daily rituals and healthy habits are for maintaining a good life — not just surviving, but truly living.

Over time, helping others transform their emotional and mental well-being began to feel like a calling. I knew that, just like me, many people were silently struggling. So I embraced this purpose and became a life coach and started Solsync to spread awareness about emotional resilience and mental health.

Coming from a pharmaceutical background, I always believed that “health is wealth.” But my own journey expanded that belief. I understood that health isn’t only physical — it’s mental, emotional, and spiritual too. And when these dimensions align, life changes.

Who has been the biggest source of motivation in your daily life?

My biggest motivation has been my younger brother, whose absence became my purpose. My life journy reminds me every day that mental and emotional well-being is not optional — it is essential.

Alongside him, my parents, grandparents, mentors, and counsellors continue to inspire me. Life has shown me that when you live with purpose and a genuine intention to serve, something shifts.

You feel guided. You feel supported. And you feel motivated to keep showing up, doing the work, and giving your best.

What are some strategies that helped you grow as a person?

A few core practices transformed my journey:

a) Radical Self-Awareness — Understanding my emotions instead of suppressing them.

b) Mindfulness & Meditation — Cultivating inner peace and clarity.

c) Continuous Learning — Books, coaches, therapy, and supportive communities.

d) Healthy Boundaries — Protecting my energy and emotional space.

e) Taking Responsibility — Shifting from victimhood to empowerment.

f) Consistency — Showing up even when it felt uncomfortable, and building strong, healthy rituals and habits every single day.

Growth isn’t accidental — it is intentional.

In your opinion, what are the keys to success?

Success is multidimensional. For me, the keys are:

– Clarity of Purpose

– Discipline and Consistency

– Emotional Intelligence

– Resilience and Adaptability

– Authenticity

– Courage to Begin — and Courage to Continue

Success is not about perfection — it’s about alignment, impact, and growth.

What advice would you give to our readers?

No matter where you are in life — starting out, rebuilding, or rising higher — remember this:

> You are stronger than your past.

> You are capable of rewriting your story.

> Asking for help is not a weakness — it’s a strength.

> Healing is not linear — be patient with yourself.

Most importantly, believe in your own power. Because the moment you do, life begins to shift — not only from outside, but from within.
